The body aura is more of a debuff than a buff, 15% increase to equip load for 70 seconds is useless unless you base you equipment around it whish isn't at all worth it over adjusting your build to mid/light roll without buffing. Despite being red lightning it doesn't do any more damage than Electrify Armament and it has a shorter duration. Also for reference I set my Endurance to 22) Godslayer Seal (Highest incant scaling at 60 Faith for max buff damage, especially since the Gravel Stone Seal effect does NOT boost this spell) Erdtree's Favor +2 (Extra equip load, plus more stamina and a bit more health is always nice) Light/Medium armor (I use Ronin's set to keep my weight low and of course for style) Light-weight Weapon (I use an Uchigatana but you can use whatever so long as you don't struggle to keep your weight low) Lightning Scorpion Charm (This one is optional as the damage increase is minimal and comes with a negation penalty, especially in PvP) I'll admit this spell is unfortunately mediocre by itself - you have to specifically build around it to get any meaningful use out of its unique effects, otherwise it's basically just a cooler looking but ultimately worse version of Electrify Armament. Highest synergistic use I've ever gotten out of this was with the following set-up: Bloodhound's Step AoW (With the decreased lightning negation you're going to benefit from having an evasion/distance control focus) 44% Equip Load (To maximize distance/i-frames of BHS when this spell is activated. See Buffs and Debuffs for more information on stacking buffs. Each buff will not stack with other buffs of the same type. This is one-part Weapon Buff, one-part Body Buff.Reduces Lightning Damage negation by 35%.This is the same damage bonus as Electrify Armament.Lightning: 0.75 * Incant Scaling (Faith portion).Buffs weapon with Lightning attack power.Received after defeating Roundtable Knight Vyke at Lord Contender's Evergaol.Of all the knights, Vyke the Dragonspear was the one Lansseax loved the most. However, lightning damage negation will be reduced. Enchants armaments with lightning-affinity attacks and increases maximum equipment load. Summons red lightning to bolster both the caster's body and their armament held in the right hand. Worship of the Ancient Dragons does not conflict with faith in the Erdtree, as the Dragons' lightning is imbued with gold, and as such the Cult was permitted within Leyndell.Incantation of Vyke, knight of the Roundtable Hold. Godwyn defeated Fortissax, however he befriended his fallen foe, ending the conflict and giving rise to the capital's Ancient Dragon Cult. During this conflict Godwyn the Golden fought to the last against the Ancient Dragon Fortissax. This marked the dawn of the war against the Dragons, during which the Tree Sentinels clad themselves in armour resembling the bodies of the Dragons in order to protect the Erdtree. They can breathe fire like many of their descendants, however they also possess the ability to wield red lightning, which often manifests in the form of spears and glaives.ĭuring the reign of Queen Marika the Eternal, the Ancient Dragon Gransax wrought havoc on Leyndell, Royal Capital, the only time in recorded history that Leyndell's walls have fallen. They have short, flat muzzles, orange-yellow eyes, and wispy grey hairs along their backs. They possess four legs, as well as four wings inlayed with gold, distinguishing them from their lesser descendants. Īncient Dragons have light grey bodies resembling stone. They were ruled over by Dragonlord Placidusax, said to have been Elden Lord in the time before the Erdtree, from the royal city of Farum Azula, and it is said that they would protect their lord as a wall of living rock. They wielded red lightning as a weapon, and had scales made of sharp, pointed gravel stones. The Ancient Dragons ruled in the prehistoric era before the Erdtree.
